"Sunset with Window" has been around for a while. Local folks will not only recognize it as Rainbow Realty's (now Re-Max) public image used in its advertising, but also as a very familiar landmark on Lake Gaston. In the old days, an honest to goodness traffic light used to adorn this picturesque dock, situated on the north side of Lake Gaston, roughly midway between mile marker Buoys #1 and #2. Through the years I have taken hundreds of shots at this setting. Sometimes from boats, as well as a few while creeping at bug-level above the shoreline riprap.
