"Sunset on Fire", taken with an Olympus
4.2 megapixel camera, 2004: Digital manipulation, overlays,
texturizing.
I have
always been partial to sunsets,
particularly when they occur over vast
landscapes. It never ceases to amaze me
how quickly colors shift as nightfall
encroaches upon dusk, especially when
the sun finally dips below the horizon. Darkness always
wins, of course, but always on a
spectacular battlefront. Each evening I
try to make a habit of toasting the
setting sun with a glass of red wine.
Very fitting when the sky is ablaze.
