About "While We Sleep"

"While We Sleep", original photograph taken with a 1st generation Olympus 1.2 megapixel camera, 2002: This version, 2010. Digital manipulation, overlays & humor.

Not much I can say about this one. While playing with one of the original "Ice Storm" images, I was abducted by the eerie colors brought out by early morning sunshine and brilliant fall colors. A truly surreal photograph, particularly when I created a faux-nighttime element. Having been an "X-Files" fan (up until the point when Mulder quit the show & Scully became kinda sorta pregnant), I decided to engage my imagination and just have fun. The first creepy  rendition of this same theme was completed way back in 2003, and long since lost during various and many system crashes. Yesterday I decided to rejuvenate the "UFO Project", as I called it back then. I am very pleased with the result.

This is an uncommonly terrific poster for kids' rooms or even an occasional wondering adult's office.
