The original image was taken at sunrise near the Gaston Dam. A simple, common theme that runs deep in my blood attracted me: fishing. When I look at this painting, I want to be in that boat with those fellahs, wetting a line, admiring nature around me, maybe sipping a hot cup of coffee.
