I was initially intrigued by the scene's natural juxtaposition of complimentary colors -- technically opposite colors, in this case reds and greens. And then by the simple, powerful serenity of the image. Two men fishing in a bass tournament during a quiet moment away from bass boats roaring from fishing hole to fishing hole all over the lake. Not a breath of wind to disturb reflections: a seamless melding of surface, fog, and sky. Which is which?
